Just outside of Waco, tucked between quiet pastures and Friday night lights, sits Lorena, Texas — a community rooted in tradition, pride, and Southern warmth. It’s the kind of place where families grow deep roots, neighbors wave when they pass, and sunsets feel a little more golden.
My husband was born here, and while I’m originally from Houston and grateful for the childhood I had there, my heart found its forever rhythm in country living. The open skies, the stillness of early mornings, the sense of belonging — Lorena is a place where simplicity feels rich and life feels intentional.

While these photos feel soft and dreamy, the session held the most endearing real-life moments — little pauses, big feelings, snacks, hugs, and laughter woven throughout. I enjoyed every minute of it and is a simple reminder that we just have to go with the flow, have fun and it will be worth it in the final product.
